Topicalization: fronting for emphasis

Structure:

non-subject element first → V2 triggers subject-verb inversion

Any constituent can be fronted in Norwegian. The V2 rule then requires the subject to follow the verb.

Example:

Den boken har jeg aldri lest. **Translation:** That book I have never read.
