Hot Skies and Bad Storms Make Flights Late

There is a big storm. It is a hot summer day. Many people are at the airport. They want to fly. But the planes cannot fly. The sky is very bad.

There are two big airports in London. Their names are Heathrow and Gatwick. The storm is over these airports. The air traffic controllers are very busy. They help the planes. But there are too many planes.

There is a big delay. Nine hundred flights are late. Some planes wait for eleven hours. Some flights are not running today. People are waiting at the airport. They are not happy.

The weather is changing now. The earth is very hot. This is climate change. It makes the weather very bad. Storms are big and fast.
