American rapper Macklemore has pledged his entire one-million-dollar earnings from Ed Sheeran’s "Loop" tour to organizations supporting humanitarian efforts in Gaza. This significant financial commitment comes after the artist was dismissed from the tour due to backlash concerning his onstage comments advocating for the Palestinian cause.

The situation escalated when venue owners, including billionaire Robert Kraft, allegedly barred the rapper from performing at their facilities. Kraft, who owns the New England Patriots and the Gillette Stadium, is known as a prominent donor to Israeli causes. Following his removal, Macklemore publicly challenged the billionaire to match his donation. In a subsequent statement, Kraft announced that he and Sheeran would contribute two million dollars to address the humanitarian crisis in the region, though specific recipient charities remained unnamed.

The impact of this dispute extended beyond the two main figures. Four additional supporting acts—Finneas, Aaron Rowe, Beoga, and Lukas Graham—chose to withdraw from the remaining tour dates.
